The strength of our communities, our public health, our culture and the livability of our city depend on ample park space.  Atlanta must continue to acquire park space and assist neighborhoods who seek to start or adopt their own parks.  Our parks should be the jewels in our city’s crown:  Natural space where residents and visitors can congregate, relax, exercise, and celebrate.

• community gardens in Atlanta's parks.
• continued acquisition of park space.
• dedicated funding for land acquisition and park development.
• involvement of organizations and neighborhoods in the preservation and visioning of our parks.
