A strong creative class can drive our economy and create an inspiring city.  Atlanta must develop space and incentives for arts to flourish.  With funding short, Atlanta must also look to combine resources with Fulton County and our business community in order to find consistent financial support for the arts.  A culturally rich city is not only a great place to live, it is also strengthens our economy.

Amir's Solutions

Amir Farokhi will call on the City to:

• establish a public art initiative to bring our streets and parks to life.
• enforce and expand the City's "Percent for Art" ordinance.
• create incentives for arts to flourish in our neighborhoods.
• encourage weekend street markets to celebrate and promote our international communities.
