E-mail your thoughtsImproving the quality of Atlanta public schools will strengthen communities, drive our population growth, raise property values, increase public safety and create a a stronger workforce. City Hall must work with Atlanta Public Schools to recruit, reward, and retain top teachers, reduce class size and raise the standards of excellence in each of our schools. We can do this with the current level of funding.
Amir's Solutions
Amir Farokhi will call on Atlanta Public Schools to:
- increase afterschool programming.
- invest in teacher professional development.
- recruit innovative, passionate teachers and reward the best teachers accordingly.
- incorporate greater school choice into the APS system.
